Chopin in the 1840s: The last decade. International Conference in Warsarw (PO)

The Fryderyk Chopin Institute (Narodowy Instytut Fryderyka Chopina) will host an international conference in Warsaw from 6 to 8 December 2007 entitled Chopin in the 1840s: The Last Decade.The main focus of the conference will be on the last decade of Chopin’s life and works, his late and last styles, and general issues surrounding the notion of late style in artistic creativity. Keynote papers will be given by Professor Jean-Jacques Eigeldinger (Neuchâtel), Professor Katharine Ellis (London), and Professor Mieczysław Tomaszewski (Kraków).
