Postmodernity has aroused many reactions among historians around the world. As was expected, musicology has not been apart from this process of debate and the own musical interpretation has been affected by the new philosophical tendencies.One of the last contribuitions has been Prof. Reinhard Strohm's article Postmodern Thought and the Historiy of Music: Some Intersections, published at the Revista Portuguesa de Musicologia, 9, directed by Manuel Carlos de Brito.
